What we do to new forks and shocks BEFORE you get them:
- Strip, check for assembly faults, oil change using top grade fully-synthetic oil, ensure optimum function
- Re-size the bushings where necessary to make sure the action is buttery smooth
- Set-up the fork/shock for you, your bike and the way you ride (fitting a new spring if necessary)
- Supply correct mount kits to rear shocks so they're ready to fit and ride
- Detail the set-up we've done for you on the back of the invoice, for your future reference

The new 2010 DHX RC4 is a new from-the-ground-up, purpose-built downhill shock specifically engineered to the demands of the world's most brutal downhill courses and the athletes who make them look easy. In only its first year of testing on the World Cup Circuit, the RC4 became the benchmark of performance, helping sister and brother teammates Rachel and Gee Atherton win the Downhill World Championships.
Externally adjustable high and low speed velocity sensitive damping and a completely redesigned Boost Valve® for position sensitive ending stroke control, act independently from each other allowing the rider to dial in the perfect balance of traction, small bump compliance and big-hit absorption.
A larger diameter shaft lowers internal pressures and increases oil flow throughout the entire shock allowing for a wider range of tuning. Embrace your inner World Champion.
